Open Burning
Burn Permits may be issued between March 1 and May 30 and between September 15 and November 15 in Wayne County, if conditions are favorable.
Go to https://air.utah.gov/OpenBurning/form/index.php to start the permit application. Agricultural burning can still occur outside of those windows with a proper clearing index, prevention measures to assure a fire doesn’t escape and after reporting the intended burn to Public Safety Dispatch 800 356 8757. Failure to comply may result in a citation. See this for more information-
